About Penmartan Cocker Spaniels

My first Cocker Spaniel bounded into my life when I was around 22 years old, and since then I have never been without one (atleast!). Lola was very typical of the breed in that she was my constant companion, her tail never stopped wagging and she was always willing to please.

In due course Lola had a nice litter of puppies and as my parents were such enthusiasts of dog showing, I was encouraged to keep one of the puppies and start to show it. I was quickly "bitten by the bug" as they say and dog showing and looking after the dogs takes up the majority of my time.

After some years of showing, I started to Judge and I am now passed by the Royal Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in Cocker Spaniels, English Setters, Hungarian Vizslas and Irish Setters.

As a Breeder of Cocker Spaniels my priorities for the puppies I produce are that they are healthy and have excellent reliable and outgoing temperaments, to equip them to make wonderful family pets. It pleases me enormously when existing customers return for another puppy and sing the praises of the one I sold them previously.

All my dogs are fully health tested for the known health conditions stipulated by the Royal Kennel Club. I am committed to providing ongoing support and advice to my puppy owners and enjoy receiving updates from them and sharing in the pleasure that the pup is giving them.

Puppies are occasionally available to pet or show homes.
